I can't thank the staff here enough from the nurses on the Duke of Gloucester ward to the physiothereapists and both of my surgeons mr Donaldson and mr jayadev, they were all amazing and go above and beyond to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. I have my life back and I'm so grateful to all of them ... absolutely amazing little hospital 👍👍
A true centre of excellence that delivers first class care throughout your pathway.Massive thankyou to Mr Gikas and Mr Ardakani and the whole team who have not only replaced my knee through Mako robotic surgery but have given me a better quality of life after living with a rare joint disease.Highly recommend 😄😄🦵🦵🦵🦵🦵🦵🦵🦵🦵🦵🦵🦵😄😄
Just home tonight, staff are amazing and mr Gibson is an amazing surgeon. Can’t thank the staff enough from theatres, icu, nurses of ward 4 and all iss staff couldn’t be any nicer xx
I want to thank all the staff at RNOH from the bottom of my heart for making my 12 year old son Ellis feel so welcomed and comfortable this christmas eve. Although I know he was putting a brave face on it I knew he was very nervous about his MRI scans and biopsy to test for cancer. everything was explained so well to him to put him at ease. They even left presents on his bed for when he came round from is biopsy, which was unbelievably kind. You all really made us feel valued rather than just a number on your daily schedule. You are all an inspiration to your profession and should all be very proud of the work you do. Hope you all have an amazing christmas ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing staff that give amazing care! Thank you!! Mr Gibson & his Team, ITU and ward 4!
My daughter had spinal correction surgery May 2019 with Mr Gibson. I can not thank all the staff and Mr Gibson enough for the amazing work they performed on our daughter. She is a totally different person now she has a new back
I have had a hip arthroscopy in August 2016 and I have been in pain ever since. The nurses and staff are amazing and could not do enough for me but the aftercare is poorer than poor. I can never see Mr Khan, have to wait months between appointments without any answers. I am currently waiting again for the results of my second MRI to get any sort of answers. I am in agonising pain without any help or support. I would NEVER get operated at the RNO again....
Not only are all the staff incredibly professional in their fields but so compassionate and caring towards each patient. 2 years ago I was in the coxen Ward and all the nurses there have made a lasting impact on my life and really supported my family whilst I was in surgery. Dr. Gibson is such a professional and if you get him as a surgeon, you’re in great hands!! I was on bed rest for a week and thought I would be bored out of my mind but there’s a lot of different activists… for patients and visitors to do. The play therapist is phenomenal and there’s a variety of different movies for you to watch in bed. The staff are always there if you need anything whatever time and genuinely care about helping others. When getting my chest drain out and learning how to walk again, the nurses were so patient and again supportive, I couldn’t thank them enough! Because of the RNOH, I aspire to be a nurse and work here some day. Incredible hospital with incredible care. :) Totally recommend!
My late mother was treated very well by the staff at RNOH over the years, thank you for all you did for her.
the hospital and the staff are so amazing and they do the fantastic job and I can't ask for anything else thank u for eveything u have done since we have been here 👍❤💞❤
My husband was there. Best hospital. Best Physio, doctors and nurses It was like our 2nd home.
I had an above knee amputation, from the first appointment right through ALL the staff were fantastic second to none. I can't thank or praise them enough.my cat sleeps where my leg used to be.
I have had great care from the RNOH Stanmore over the last 3 years culminating in a partial knee replacement in October to help with my PVNS. Dr Jake Jagiello performed the surgery at the Spire Bushey, great surgeon who kept me informed every step of the way.
Brilliant reconstruct and replacement surgery coupled with outstanding care.
I cannot go any for my appointments they have changed from courtesy cars to ambulances it is so painful on my spine to travel like that from Stevenage to Stanmore Hospital it puts me in bed for 4 days after also they go every where picking up other people last time I was 35 minutes late for appointment so to late to be seen had to wait 2 hours to get home again time before that 30 minutes late that time waited 3 hours to get home from Bolsover they do not have any consid…eration for their patients I have put in complaints to g4 transport but to no avail I had a letter from my Surgeon asking that I have a courtesy car but the transport people just ignored it is had a 10 hour spine operation at Stanmore Hospital and to feel every pot holes travelling in those uncomfortable ambulances is totally unacceptable so I have no option but not to go to my appointmentsurprise again.
i had 3 major back operations here 15 years ago it was the best hospital around and probably still is,staff in adolescent ward was amazing & the surgeons are some of the best!
Fantastic hospital and friendly dedicated staff :)

The building may be old but the staff are amazing and the expertise is second to none.
Excellent and best facilties ever
Clean, friendly and fantastic!! Especially all staff in HDU and ward 4 !!
lovely hospital Mr Gibson spine surgeon, absolutely brilliant, he has looked after my daughter for years amazing 👍👍👍
My partner has had trouble with this trust for years. No one is capable of making a decision. When they do, they change thier mind. Treatment and revision of treatment has been appauling. Oh and they won't release a patient to go to another trust for treatment. I can't wait until his ordeal is finally over.
I have now had three surgeries, one for scoliosis correction, One for knee replacement One for long standing bladder issues, My experience for all three admissions have been excellent my nursing care was outstanding, The staff knowing I actually lived in greater Manchester made my stay as comfortable as possible and ensured I never felt alone,… What else can you ask for anxiety being away from home was addressed I never waited for pain relief , so is a very big thank you to all involved in my care! Regards to all Elizabeth Ferrario
My wife has just had her second knee replacement by the very talented Mr cheetham jayadev she is well on the road to recovery many thanks

Can this center help her to walk again? She had a surgery in Cuba already but it helps partly. My name above is what I used on Facebook... If u want to contact me just inbox in my page
my daughter had a scoliosis spinal fusion under the care of Mr Gibson and his amazing team, the corrective surgery he gave was outstanding and his care also, he visited my daughter everyday to check all was ok, he has a lovely manner and personality. Coxen ward staff are exceptional also and the physios are also brilliant, HDU staff also gave wonderful care, this hospital is the best , I can’t fault it at all. Thank you Stanmore.
Had the most brilliant relatives day today with the most inspiring and open people. I learnt so much and feel safe in the knowledge that my husband will be safe and well cared for during his stay and also fully supported when he returns home. Thank you everyone for your stories, experiences and advice 😊
I’ve been a patient of the RNOH for the past 18 years. The care has always been second to none. I had an osteosarcoma many years before and had knee replacement plus full tibia replacement and a pin up through my femur. Over many years I had many complications and this resulted in my leg being amputated last September again the care and follow up have been amazing. We travel from Devon to go there and my husband was able to stay in hospital accommodation some times which was a life saver during my many hospital stays.
The best people in the world to work with x
O melhor Hospital ortopédico.
Outstanding Orthopaedic Hospital. Great doctors and other medical staffs. Very nice and clean environment. Friendly service. They never give up and give the patients hope for recovery. The hospital building has been improved from the old historical building to a modern architectural designed building during recent years. Old doctors either retired or transferred to another hospital but the care and service remains the same outstanding level. My son has been talking treatment of this hospital since 2004 for his nerves injury during birth.
I regularly have appointments here for an ongoing problem with pain in my leg. The staff are amazing here and there is Starbucks in the reception area. Thanks RNOH! ❤️❤️
Visited this hospital on 26th June.Received a 'planning your journey' printout with the appointment letter that stated the hospital is easily located by car and that parking is free!. Imagine our amazement when we realised it was central London and a nightmare to find, there was no car park, and to top it we we entered the congestion charging zone.£22 for parking at the local Holiday Inn for less than 2 hours and an £11.50 congestion charge led to an expensive and not to mention stressful day. Especially as the closest tube station was a 2 minute walk away when we eventually found the hospital. It turns out that they had provided information for their hospital at a different site!Tried to speak to the male reception worker a couple of times who was rude and abrupt so we gave up trying.
Kind staff, happy environment and first class treatment.
amazing hospital, though lots of challenges with communication and seemingly low levels of autism awareness so I normally have to bring an advocate to aide communication (I don't have to at other hospitals). some members of staff go above and beyond to make sure I can still access my appointment.
Outstanding staff & treatment!!!
One of the best hospitals I've ever been to. Expert consultants, friendly staff, generally punctual appointments, modern building and a nice coffee shop. I really recommend it!
Healthcare in England is mainly provided by England's public health service, the National Health Service, that provides healthcare to all permanent residents of the United Kingdom that is free at the point of use and paid for from general taxation. Since health is a devolved matter, there are differences with the provisions for healthcare elsewhere in the United Kingdom. Though the public system dominates healthcare provision in England, private health care and a wide variety of alternative and complementary treatments are available for those willing to pay.
Fantastic . . . FANTASTIC hospital. The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital is a truly amazing organisation. It is a centre of excellence, and a world leader in orthopaedics - all facets of orthopaedics; including surgery, research, training of consultants and related professions, long-term and intensive rehabilitation, ongoing support, public education, and more. If you are a back pain sufferer and have run out of options with you local hospitals, ask for a referral here to the RNOH. OK, being in central London, it may well be a pain in the arras to get to - you will NOT regret it. Oh, and their new glass building is stunning!
I've been attending this wonderful hospital in Bolsover Street since 1976. I've had many operations in Stanmore and have always been treated with respect and dignity. I would never go anywhere else for my operations. 😊
Appointment was at 9.30 told at 9.45 they was running an hour late, only to be told at 10.45 that 11.30 the first person would be seen! Very Poor, spent to much money on the building and not on the Staff.if you got a day to waste this is the place to go.
I followed your suggestion - I had a day to waste so popped along, but as I didn't have any aches and pains, it was a bit of a wasted journey. Oh well. You live and learn.
Wait can be over long but expertise is high and facilities good.
Diagnosed my problem after other doctors didn't have a clue.
Amazing doctors. Especially miss Eastwood
