I requested a second opinion for the treatment of prostate cancer for my dad. The cosultation was provided in written by Prof. Dr. med. Sebastian Melchior. He answered all my initial questions and the ones I've sent after his initial answers in meter of few days. This helped us in understanding better the situation and possible options. However due to the fact that most of the answers were of general rather specific nature, in the end we are still not sure what is the better treatment in our case.

I already have 3 years of ulcerative colitis, but in the last six months there have been some unpleasant sensations in the lower abdomen. Меня даже не оперировали – рак удалили эндоскопом со специальными насадками и камерой. Сейчас неприятных ощущений нет, даже колит не беспокоит.

Since the clinic is large, there is a service that picks up their wards and takes them to the office for examination, they leave them there, and at the end they are taken away again. This can take about an hour, you have to be prepared. Many things on demand or on demand, you also need to know. In general, the operation was successful, but there were problems due to age and concomitant diseases. We stayed in the clinic for longer and had additional examinations, which, accordingly, led to an increase in the bill. The bill is one third higher than the preliminary estimate. Палата отличная, душ, туалет, холодильник, супер кровать, телевизор, русский канал. Чисто, уютно. Еда тоже отличная на выбор. Достаточно и для больного и для посетителей. Фрукты, соки, вода, чай, кофе в неограниченных количествах. Персонал в основном вежливый и профессиональный. Но мы были требовательные пациенты, мама в прошлом врач и ни одно лекарство или процедуру не принимала, пока не объяснят, что это и зачем. Это конечно нервировало персонал. Люди везде люди, некоторые делали вид, что не понимают. Немецкие врачи профессионалы, но теплоты и душевности не ждите. Нам очень повезло, мы встретили двух русскоговорящих врачей, Сергей Леонтьев и Татьяна Гинденспергер. Я им благодарна бесконечно! Несмотря на свою занятость, находили время для разговора и поддержки, что очень важно для пожилого человека, слово тоже лечит! Так как клиника большая, есть сервис, которые забирает их палаты и отвозит к кабинету для обследования, там оставляют и по окончании забирают опять. Это может длиться около часа, надо быть готовым. Многие вещи по требованию или по запросу, тоже надо знать. В целом операция прошла успешно, но были проблемы в силу возраста и сопутствующих заболеваний. Пробыли в клинике дольше и были дополнительные обследования, что соответственно привело к увеличению счета. Счет на треть выше предварительной сметы. Это конечно неприятный момент.

They didn’t save on treatment, did everything they recommended, but they just cheerlessly pumped chemistry and prescribed unnecessary consultations like a physiotherapist with charging a hopelessly sick person !!! The company "phoenix" is a soulless creature with the function of receiving money, I don’t even know how to call them anymore ... Doctor Professor Eger also smiled on detours and said that everything would be fine and didn’t even tell the family that the situation was getting worse, she appointed procedures ... As we now understand, everything was clear for a long time, we just wanted to be "treated" because we paid. They tortured our daddy heartlessly and cynically for money !!! Curator Stoyanova stopped responding to letters and the phone immediately, as soon as they informed her that the patient no longer exists. NO ONE! neither she, nor "phoenix", nor the clinic, they even expressed condolences ... It hurts to realize that nothing human is left in people ... Просто хочу предупредить,подумайте,прежде чем обращаться сюда. Нам не помогли... Более того, сейчас мы понимаем,что нам просто не говорили правду, обещали лечение, что все будет хорошо и мы в это верили, искренне! Не экономили на лечении, делали все,что рекомендовали,а они просто бездушно качали химией и назначали ненужные консультации типа физиотерапевта с проведением зарядки безнадежно больному человеку!!! Фирма "феникс" это бездушные существа с функцией приема денег,больше даже не знаю как их назвать... Врач-профессор Егер тоже улыбалась на обходах и говорила что все будет хорошо и даже родственникам не сказала,что ситуация ухудшается, назначала новые и новые процедуры... Как мы сейчас понимаем, все было ясно уже давно,просто нас хотели "лечить" поэтому что мы платили. Мучили нашего папочку бездушно и цинично из-за денег!!! Куратор Стоянова перестала отвечать на письма и телефон сразу же, как только сообщили ей о том,что пациента больше нет. НИКТО! ни она,ни "феникс",ни клиника, даже соболезнования не высказали... Больно осознавать,что не осталось ничего человеческого в людях... Мы ругали наших российских врачей,а они просто сразу сказали нам правду

The doctor was good but we have large problems with communication and I feel how he felt uncomfortable about it but cannot do anything with it. That is why I denied to do the operation there and only have a consultation They do not know that I do not speak German but only English I want to say thank you to Lesya, her job was good.
