I would not hesitate to go back to this hospital and see the doctors and event for any other reason I would definitely come back to Turkey to the memorial Hospital
Dr and staff was amazing. They fulfilled their jobs are specialist. The translator we had was amazing. He explained majority of everything Hospital hospital cleanliness was superb.. I would not hesitate to go back to this hospital and see the doctors and event for any other reason I would definitely come back to Turkey to the memorial Hospital. I saw the cardiologist, lung specialist and also had stem cells Thank you
And all the run-up to the appointments and that the timing and everything was absolutely fantastic, even to look at my medication. What I was already taken, which I’m not sure if other on the right ones but the doctor changed them over which I’m hoping that this will work

May the peace and mercy of God be with you. As a great program, the people who use it are great. The answer is excellent, but the last time was through MC Hospital Türkiye. The translator is a man named Issa. It is very weak in translation and does not translate. Why is this from the words of the doctor? Because the doctor spoke for a long time, and the translation was short, so there was a lot of things. It does not translate for me, and it did not benefit me at all, and the examination didn't help, doctor

Yes, I liked everything except the discharge, the nurse came to write out and said the finish line and go to the exit. Not a doctor did not consult anything, only returned at the exit and the translator more or less explained.

"The doctor was really nice and understanding
I came to the consultation without documents (analyzes), the clinic replied that I was not ready to give a consultation without relevant documents, which I think was good. I can’t say the clinic is good or bad for the above reason.

They were few people who could speak English. Also I was given the wrong information in whats app message about the treatment - they explained that I may need to stay in the hospital for two days and must stay in Turkey for 6 days etc.... Instead I was only given an injection into the knees which took 10 minutes to administer. I also had PRP hair - I wasn't told what is the value of this procedure. I found out it only helps to stop the hair falling out. To be honestly I will not use Turkey for medical services again. 1. There is a language barrier. 2. No one tells you what they are doing until you ask them. 3. The whats app message was not the treatment I received. 4. For the injection into my knees I paid 2500 dollars. This is a very high prices and I feel I was robbed. 5. I will not recommend treatment in this hospital to anyone.
About Bookimed service
Not really I am not sure whats app is the best way to keep in touch. I have no emails for the hospital to explain the treatment and procedures. I have no way to ask questions. To be more profession - all communication should be done through eails so thete ius evidence and an audit of the events. To be honest there was very little conversation. I got picked up and I waited in the hospital and I was returned to the hotel.

Hello, This is not the first time that I have been a patient from Turkmenistan at the Medipol Clinic. What can I say the doctors and staff are very friendly, helpful. The translator, which was provided by the Clinic, was very polite, it was immediately clear that the Specialist was in charge, there were no problems with the translation. I would recommend this hospital to all patients, but only I think one minus is that the price for the examination is high. Concerning Bookimed, I am very glad that Alexey and Varvara, very responsive guys working with this team, help me solve all problems in a difficult situation. Thank you very much. Guys for their help and I hope for further cooperation with you.

Liv Hospital Ulus
Turkey, Istanbul
4.5
Excellent
• 213 reviews

LIV orthopedists apply stem cells for knee cartilage replacement at the Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research & Manufacturing. People aged 15-55 years can receive cell therapy for cartilage and tendon injuries, joint degeneration, and sports traumas.

Stem cell knee injections cost depends on the disease severity and number of the cells needed for treatment. At least 3 million of stem cells per 1 cm of the lesion are necessary. The period of the cells production lasts 4-6 weeks. During this period a patient can stay in the country. Cost of stem cell therapy for knees does not include accommodation in Turkey.

A surgeon implants the cells in 24-48 hours after their production. The duration of the injection is few minutes. Stem cell knee replacement cost is also affected by the injections amount.

Hello, we are from Kazakhstan. Came here for diagnosis and treatment of my son. We really liked the clinic. Neurologist Barış Metin explained everything to us in detail. We learned a lot about my son's illness. My son has hydrocephalus and even after the tests we found out that he has epilepsy, the VP-shunt works at an accelerated rate, so my son did not develop. Now we are receiving treatment. We hope it helps insha Allah. I also liked the staff, especially the translators, I forgot the names, but one of them even knows the Kazakh language. It was super convenient. Thank you very much Bookimed, you are the best, you helped us a lot, especially thanks to Oksana and Anna, they always answered on time and put up with us for more than a month. Praise be to Allah everything went well.

İzmir, Turkey.   Effect of Surgical Closing in Total Knee Arthroplasty at Flexion or Extension; A Prospective Randomized Study   Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of knee position during wound closure (flexed versus extended) in total knee arthroplasty on knee strength and function, as determined by knee society scores and isokinetic testing of extensor and flexor muscle groups.   Methods: In a prospective, randomized, double-blind trial, 29 patients were divided in two groups: For Group 1 patients, surgical closing was performed with the knee extended, and for Group 2 patients, the knee flexed at 90°. All the patients were treated with the same anesthesia method, surgical team, surgical technique, prosthesis type and rehabilitation process. American Knee Society Score values and knee flexion degrees were recorded. Isokinetic muscle strength measurements of both knees in flexion and extension were performed using 60⁰ and 180⁰/second angular velocity. The peak torque and total work values, isokinetic muscle strength differences, and total work difference values were calculated for surgically-repaired and healthy knees.   Results: No significant difference in the mean American Knee Society Score values and knee flexion degrees was observed between the two groups. However, using isokinetic evaluation, a significant difference was found in the isokinetic muscle strength differences and total work difference of the flexor muscle between the two groups when patients were tested at 180°/second. Less loss of strength was detected in the isokinetic muscle strength differences of the flexor muscle in Group 2 (-4. 2%) than in Group 1 (-23. 1%).   Conclusion: For patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty, post-operative flexor muscle strength is improved if the knee is flexed during wound closure Read more
