Isil Safak Yildirim

Op. Dr. Işıl Şafak Yıldırım, M.D. has completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in Istanbul. She graduated from Istanbul Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2005, which she entered with a degree in 1999. She completed her specialty education at Istanbul Bakırköy Gynecology and Pediatrics Training and Research Hospital in 2010 and did her compulsory service at Ağrı Doğubeyazıt State Hospital between February 2011 and June 2012. In 2012, she was entitled to receive Lamazze and Hypnobirthing certificates in the United States and gave training on a natural birth for 6 months in Houston and Los Angeles.

She worked as a specialist doctor at Istanbul Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital from 2013-2019. She moved to Elâzığ in March 2019 due to her spouse’s situation and worked at Private Elâzığ Hayat Hospital for 2 years. During her 17-year public and private career, she has performed thousands of pregnant follow-ups, vaginal deliveries, and cesarean deliveries.

In 2018, she participated in the Sex Therapy Training Program for 6 months and was entitled to receive a certificate. She has experience in both cognitive and surgical treatments of female sexual health problems and has treated many patients. She believes that a holistic approach to women’s health is correct with a functional medicine perspective and works by adhering to this philosophy in her clinical practice.
