Dr. Arye Blachar is a diagnostic radiologist with expertise in abdominal imaging, hepatic perfusion imaging, CT colonography, and body MR imaging. He focuses on imaging studies of the abdominal and pelvic organs. He has a special interest in diagnosing cancers of the liver, lung, prostate, stomach, adrenal glands, breast, and esophagus, as well as peritoneal mesothelioma.

Dr. Victor Alexander Krol - Chief of Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine and Obesity Treatment Center at Martinus Hospital

Dr. Victor Alexander Krol is a highly qualified specialist, heading the departments of gastroenterology and internal medicine. With many years of experience and deep knowledge in his field, Dr. Krol has established himself as an outstanding expert, providing patients with comprehensive treatment and an individual approach. He actively uses the latest methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, metabolism, as well as diseases of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.

Dr. Krol is also the director of the certified Obesity Treatment Center at Martinus Hospital, which provides surgical and endoscopic treatments for obesity. The center uses advanced technology to diagnose and treat obesity (adiposis), including methods such as bariatric surgery, endoscopic weight loss, and specialized programs for patients with different stages of obesity. Scientific activity

Marcus Dukes is one of the first physicians to perform minimally invasive microwave ablation of liver and lung tumors under CT guidance.

Clinical activities

The professor heads the first and only MRI-guided FUS ablation center in the Rhine-Main region. In most cases, the procedure allows avoiding surgical intervention. Patients of the center have access to ablation for prostate cancer, bone and liver metastases, benign tumors, and treatment of uterine fibroids without surgery.
