Everything went smoothly. We were guided where to go to meet our driver. We found him right away. We were informed of what I needed to do before and after surgery. Surgery day went well. Surgery was about 2 hours long and recovery had been pretty easy. Not a lot of pain expect for the armpits really.

Having a translator there. Also my questions being answer fairly well.

The information I received landing in Turkey instead of 2-3 weeks before surgery date. Like the no makeup, false lashes and nail polish information needs to be given 2-3 weeks before surgery not the day before.

I would definitely recommend this hospital and all who looked after us, just a bit of a language barrier with some of the nurses on our ward ., it’s not a complaint, just to let you know it would be a great help to try learning there language before you. This is the first time I went to another country to have surgery and, for the first time, I went to Turkey. So I was very nervous. But from the preparation to the arrival by chat, to the arrangements on the spot: airport transfer, hotel, travelling to the dressing, I was fully under the care of the clinic staff. I knew what the next step was, what time it would be, when to take what medication, how the operation would go, etc. I knew everything. I was carefully guided through these few days, as if by the hand. The hotel where I was accommodated also took my needs into account: I had to work and the clinic staff booked a room with a desk, which was very important for my comfort during work. The clinic staff were helpful, professional, communicative and friendly. When I left, I tried to find anything that could have been improved and I realised that it would be very difficult to make a complaint - everything was done to the best of my ability. Some colleagues have already asked for recommendations and I was happy to give them.

Issues with the organisation of the operation when outsiders enter the operating theatre and the door to the operating theatre is open wide open 3.
