Everything was great! Accessible and high quality counselling from the coordinator Tatiana at Bookmed!
Tatiana put me in touch with the interpreter Olga from Special Veni Vidi Eye Health Centre Veni Vidi Göz Caddebostan
On the first day I had a quality examination and on the same day I had a lens replacement surgery in one eye.
The operation was performed by a wonderful doctor with many years of experience, a professional in her field - Sultan Kaya Unsal.
The operation lasted about 6 minutes (for the 1st eye), the 2nd eye was done the next day in 4 minutes 32 seconds!
The process was painless and stress free.
Today, more than a week after the operation, I can see perfectly, read and write small print! No discomfort ! The recovery process is ongoing!
Thank you very much for your labour and competence!
I recommend it to everyone!

Very modern clinic (top-of-the-range Relex Smile Pro laser correction machine) with friendly, caring staff, my doctor Anil Kubaloglu suggested a more suitable laser correction option than I had planned for which I am additionally grateful to him.
The clinic kindly agreed to extend my stay for a day free of charge when I had a flight, provided an extra desk and chair for work. Excellent 3 meals a day.

My care was very good from start to finish. As soon as I arrived at the hospital, I was greeted by my interpreter and team. They were very friendly, put me at ease and explained what would happen and when. I had checks done and blood taken etc and met the consultant. He was absolutely lovely and again explained the whole procedure. I also met with the Anaesthetist.
My procedure was completed and the care was fantastic from all the staff involved. The room and hospital were great.
I felt like we had VIP treatment.
The Hotel was also nice and everything runs like clockwork.
Thanks to all the team but, especially to Ishmeal, Senna and Doctor Ozturk.

I liked the clinic very much, my spouse and I spent the night there, we were fed.
the translator was always with us, she resolved many issues with hospitalization, was constantly in touch, even helped in the money issue, she personally spoke with the doctor, she was very influenced by the discount they made.
Also, the clinic has a cafeteria, and you can eat and eat.
The hotel is, in principle, good, if you plan to go to the clinics for a long time, if you need to walk several times a day, it is very convenient, because after the operation there was something forgotten, you need to take something in the hotel, it is literally located behind. And the breakfasts there are good and the staff is responsive, the rooms are cramped, but in the old part of the city, more terrible than a hotel is even more expensive, and this hotel cost us very cheap.

I had an extremely frustrating experience at the hospital . None of the staff spoke English, which made it nearly impossible to communicate my concerns and questions. To make matters worse, they refused to accept card payments, and instead, they provided third-party payment details, which raised a huge financial red flag for me.
To add insult to injury, I was required to pay a deposit of $200 in cash, which I later found out was non-refundable. This is completely unfair and unacceptable. It left me feeling both financially and emotionally distressed, and I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone. Clear communication and fair payment practices are fundamental aspects of any healthcare facility, and this hospital failed miserably in both regards.
In addition to the communication and payment issues, I must mention that the hospital was located in a completely unsuitable area for tourists. This made the overall experience even more distressing. Visitors to a foreign country expect medical facilities to be accessible and accommodating, but this hospital was situated in a place that made it extremely inconvenient and uncomfortable for travelers. It's an important factor to consider for anyone planning to visit the area and needing medical care.

Jaroslava's WhatsApp support service is 100%, the consultant has excellent knowledge and information in the medical field, the interpreter support at Tatiana and Zahida's clinic was excellent, smooth work, quick responses, highly qualified doctors, modern equipment, different medical packages, which allows the patient to pay for additional medical services.
