Literally everything was perfect. My medical coordinators (Irina, Yasemine, Muhlise and Narmina) have exceeded my expectations. They have shown the highest standards of hospitality, care, emotional support as well as kept me up to date always with the necessary steps and updates and joined me on my doctor visits and follow up appointments. My Doctor was excellent! He was extremely honest with his feedback prior to surgery, and ensured I knew exactly what to expect. He did not personally agree with what I had requested, yet he still did a great job. It’s too soon to discuss the results as I still have the plasters on, nonetheless so far so good! The ladies (especially Yasemin and Muhlise who have been physically present during my journey) have made the experience significantly better for me, and I will always be grateful for their presence and support. 10/10 recommend!

My surgeon, Dr Ergin Er was thorough in the pre-op consultation and speaks perfect English so no barriers there
From the first enquiry into my surgery journey the staff at Bookimed were very attentive & responded to any questions in a speedy manner, this was followed through consistently during my stay so I’d like to say thank you personally to Yasin & Ege.
My surgeon, Dr Ergin Er was thorough in the pre op consultation and speaks perfect English so no barriers there,. My surgery went well and was offered pain relief as & when need, be mindful that the nursing staff speak very little English so best to use a translation app.
The food offered was ok however I was given my evening meal at 5pm and was hungry later in the evening, I couldn’t use a delivery app without a Turkish cell number so I’d recommend to take snacks & drinks, water is available from a cooler but I craved a Coke Zero lol.

The results of both breast augmentation and lower blethoplasy was wonderful. The Doctor, nurse Margie, Ice and the other staff were attentive and caring.

Got gynecomastia surgery, emintha into healing moderately okay results, had maybe grade one maybe grade 2 gyno, got glands removed as I was very lean,
Surgeon made long incisions, along my chest, have two ling 3 Inch scars on either side of my nipples on both side of my chest
Fland wasn't fully removed on my left side so have recurring gyno,
Need steriod injection to help with scaring, surgeon isn't competent enough to go through the nipples to leave no scarring,
Pictures they send of before and after are a lie,
Probably look worse than before cant take my top off after,
The response to this was get laser treatment or steriod injections
Sub par save your money go somewhere else

From the day i contacted Bookimed they answered my within minutes. I explained the procedure i wanted to have and also explained how worried I was. Medical team was as expected, nurses were very good. Language barrier was an issue, after care support was nil, staff were off sick, one nurse working with inpatient and me as outpatient. I was not ambulatory, so she came to me. Very rushed, no explanation of meds or paperwork. Medical certificate pre filled out before final surgery was even done. Surgeons tummy tuck was done well, neck lift - good, butt lift and breast lift not done, fat transfer instead, not what I wanted. Face lift was only on upper eye lid and did not work as expecterd, was looking for blepharoplasty, Upper and lower eye lids. Surgeon did not know what I meant. Still have wrinkles around eyes, still have over hanging eyelid in brow area. Not recommended if you have additional health issues, I have anaphylaxis to wheat which means all medications need to be checked, nurses and doctor did not know what I meant, so I could not take food or medication there. Also, most staff did not understand my request for wheat free foods- became a big issue. Perfectly fine to attend this clinic if you are in good health and have no other life threatening health issues. Below photo on left is what I got, photo on right is what I wanted. AS you can see in the other e photos, myafor arm adn upper arms still have excess skin and wrinkles, my inner thighs still have too much skin and lots of wrinkles. I had asked for VASER lyposuction, this liquifies fat and shrinks skin, not sure I got that type of liposuction. This bruising 2 weeks post surgery.

It's a nice small clinic.
I will start with the supervisor: Karina, a wonderful girl, very friendly and professional, I was delighted with her.
The nurses are mostly adult women with a lot of experience. The night after the operation I was pleasantly surprised that after pressing the call button I did not have to wait for them to come at all.

I chose not to use the services at all. I was working with book med for months looked at the pictures of the hospital, but when I got there and actually saw the hospital, it was dirty. The room where you take. The pictures looks dirty unorganized so what would the operating room look like? I pay the consultant fee, but the doctor never touched me. Never put his hands on me. Just looked at my pictures and I'm in the room so you need to fix that.

I was nervous travelling to a different country where I don’t know the language for this operation. Also this surgeon and hospital was about 20% cheaper than other offers and I hoped that wouldn’t be reflected in the quality of care. I shouldn’t have worried! I felt taken care of the whole time. They went above and beyond to make sure I was Ok. Ismael my co-ordinator and translator was lovely and professional. The doctor did an amazing job with my nose and I am so happy with the results. I liked my doctor and translator. The doctor had a kind and reassuring energy to him. There were two things that bothered me about the experience.One was having to wait several hours past my scheduled consultation with him after a 16 hr travel period after being brought directly to the hospital. The second was being told they may have to harvest cartilage from my ear or rib minutes before my surgery after being told they would not have to do that during the consultation. That really stressed me out. They wound up not having to do that but it made me feel like they had not prepared properly. That being said, the surgery went well and I’m happy with the results so far. I’m posting this only a week and a half from my surgery date but so far, so good.

The beginning of surgery was tough, doing the upper and lower Blepharplasty with shots and some pain reliever in my IV and I needed something a little stronger but I understand how careful the Dr was because I was under full anesthesia the minute the eye surgeries were done. The results are looking amazing and the swelling decreased daily. I’m not sure what oral pain meds I was on after surgery but it was perfect for me because I don’t like to be on very many pain meds and when the meds ended it was the time I usually stop taking any pain meds. I’m pleased with the results I’m seeing so far and it’s only 3 weeks post-op. Lilith and the the girls were amazing, Lilith helped be to the hotel nearby after my 2 day stay at the surgical hospital and she helped me with exchanging my money to pay my hotel bill because my Credit Union was blocking my use of my credit card. I recommend anyone from outside of Korea to make sure they have an account with a larger bank before getting surgery in another country. I can’t say how much I needed and got reassurance from the staff with removal of my stitches and just how conscientious the staff was that I would be as comfortable as possible. Dr Kim Yong Woo always asked if I had any questions and spend the time before and after surgery to make sure all my questions were answered. He did a good job on my surgery and I recommend him for anyone seeking plastic surgery in Korea.

One would fear that flying to a foreign country where you don’t know the language would be stressful and scary. Not only did the staff (Joanne <3!) make that all a cakewalk, the clinic’s aftercare was top notch, they really went above and beyond for me. And I am NOT an easy patient—I need to know every chemical in the anesthesia, I negotiate different antibiotics, make them go over my 21 daily supplements, etc—I kept them BUSY and was shown nothing but continual grace and warmth, and was always responded to promptly. By far the most attentive care I have EVER gotten in medicine—again, thanks especially to Joanne, who even walked me back to my hotel across the street post op. As for the surgery outcome, I didn’t even need a Tylenol it was that painless, I was able to walk around and enjoy Seoul every day after my mini lift, and although I’m still swollen at just under two weeks out, I already look ten years younger and am loving what I’m seeing. Dr. Park knows what he is doing, he’s done 3000+ facelifts (yes I asked), he has superb attention to detail, a true artist’s hand, and is a friendly and gentlemanly doctor!
