My Experience at Dr. Med’ Clinic The team was absolutely wonderful. The surgery went smoothly, and I’m truly grateful to Dr. Yunus, all the clinic staff, and especially Dr. Yunus and Akylay. Everything was organized professionally, with care and efficiency. I underwent a deep plane facelift and neck lift, as well as upper and lower blepharoplasty. Overall, I am very satisfied with both the results and the service. My only suggestion would be this: for such major plastic surgeries, the patient should ideally stay at the clinic for at least 3 days under medical supervision. This is essential for proper recovery and peace of mind. Also, I would prefer that Dr. Yunus personally performs the bondage changes, as he does them best — and it noticeably speeds up the healing process. Aside from that, everything was top-notch: the team is responsive, caring, and highly professional. Thank you all for your care and excellent work!

I really appreciated the staff’s efficiency — their ability to respond quickly to my needs, react promptly to my messages, and show genuine care, empathy, and commitment to my smooth recovery and overall experience.

What I didn’t like was that the consultation took place on the same day we arrived. It was exhausting, as we were sleep-deprived, tired, and unable to fully process the information the doctor was giving us. It was an unpleasant experience. We had booked our flight based on a recommendation from the Doctor-Med clinic’s sales department. Another thing that disappointed us was being hospitalized for only one day — we had to extend the stay ourselves for the second day. I strongly believe that after such serious surgeries, the patient should be hospitalized for at least two days for proper medical supervision and recovery.

I was so impressed with how every little detail of my visit was meticulously dealt with by Defe. From the moment I got off the plane EVERY small detail was taken care of. From my limo pick up just for myself to the hotel (a 5*+ hotel at least). Check in then hospital Dr Ali was such an expert and explained everything before my operation and made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen.After the operation I had the ultimate first class care and attention and had my very own night nurse from 20:00 until 08:00 for both evenings in hospital. My limo was waiting to take me back to the hotel where I had a 24 hour infirmary clinic. I also had a nurse that visited daily to ch CK and administer my medication and creams and ensure I was feeling ok every day. Defe was my contact and she was at the end of the phone 24/7 for texting, ringing and make me feel safe and well. The hotel is above and beyond anything I have ever known, the staff are all helpful, the hotel security is absolute top notch. I was on the fourth floor my pass key would only allow me to go to or from they floor to the ground level OR roof terrace, each person on any one floor were ultra safe at all times.

Dr Ali a man with such intricate hands using cutting edge technology to the best possible expertise. the hospital was ultra clean, sterile and quiet, the atmosphere was so chilled happy and caring at all times the hotel, the immaculate cleanliness of the hotel at all times of the day or night. The restaurant had every type of food available that everyone was able to find something they each liked to eat. The meals were 5* cuisine, and melted in your mouth.

Surgery in Turkey, I am 60 years old, and I travelled to Istanbul for a Deep Plane Facelift and a lower and upper Blepharoplasty. Bookimed, I am so grateful to you, I could not have made this journey without your assistance. Thank you very much for your guidance and patience. I hope I did not give you a hard time. Turkey is a safe place to travel, it is safer than Paris, Milan or Manhattan. I never felt in danger in Istanbul. From the moment I arrived at Lokman Hekim Hospital, everything was taken care of by Ismael Ali, who is an easy going and friendly translator. The pre-operative test were done as soon as I arrived. The day after I met Doctor Murat Yaman who is a friendly and open person. Before travelling to Istanbul I checked his background and found him to be a very good and competent surgeon. So, on that day I was relaxed for the surgery because I knew I was going to be in good hands. The work he did on me was outstanding. I am still in the healing process. My eyes are a bit irritated, but that is normal. My face is still a bit swollen but it no longer hangs. My face has changed expression from appearing to be sad or angry to reflecting a normal emotion. A big thanks to the Lokman Hekim Hospital staff some of them spoke a little bit of English others were fluent but all of them were caring, kind, super friendly and always ready to help.

II was searching for a plastic surgeons who specialisised in deep plane facelifts , I research BookiMed.com and was happy with the reviews , i then went on to the BookiMed booking services and was guided through every detail , they listened to my all conserns and answered all my questions they gave me time to think things through carefully with no pressure at all. I was then recommended the incredible Dr, I am extremely pleased with the work he has done on my face , I am definitely a new and very happy woman. . I had only initially sought a deep plane facelift, but as a woman in my mid-50s, he explained and recommended that i needed surgery on both my upper and lower eyelidsalong with a temple lift and the reason's why, which was in order to achieve a naturally balanced appearance, which I was looking for . Dr. never once pressured me into doing anything I didn't want , the decision was mine to consider, . during my consultation, with him I could tell he was a true perfectionist . To me, he came across as very polite, professional and I could see he had a precise understanding of the subject. Therefore, in his hands, I felt entirely safe and reassured , i was so glad I took his valuable advice .. . Sara and Akilay were my medical support they were with me all the way, From the first day of online consultation to my last day in istanbul and are still there if need them, they sorted everything for me. The girls made a special effort to ensure i was at ease. Nothing was a problem, all of my enquiries and concerns were handled expertly.They even went above and beyond to help with anything I needed .I arrived to istanbul alone , but I never once did I feel alone. They made me feel very safe, to which I was so grateful for . I was also taken well care of by the hospital staff, and despite some language issues i was able to communicate, the care given to me was excellent . After my facelift and with the typical normal swelling of oedema, I able to see through this and was thrilled with the results, Dr did amazing work. When discarge from hospital i was taken back to the hotel, I continued to receive excellent aftercare by Dr MED staff, along with Sara and Akiay, They kept open communication with me and well informed about everything , and how to look after myself during my healing process. This was done through what's app and face to face visits. What I didn't like was, I had to sleep upright, this was to ensure good healing process , so my tip for anyone is to bring your own lumber upright pillow to the hotel or make sure you have one when you return home , as it will be a blessing and will help you sleep more comfortably . About day 5, I was given a medical facial massage oh wow, this was incredible and so needed , this treatment also assists you in your healing process. The hotel is a charming little establishment that had everything I needed, only two mins walking distance from the hospital Additionally , the hotel personnel's staff also helped to attend to all of your needs. Nothing was an issue for them. They were so kind . The food was also good and I recommend Mama's meatballs, it had great flavour. and simple to consume following face lift procedure . I like to express my gratitude to everyone who attended to all of my needs. I am incredibly thankful. and grateful, most of all, and Undoubtedly, to Dr MED, i feel he is among one of the greatest plastic surgeons. The beginning of surgery was tough, doing the upper and lower Blepharplasty with shots and some pain reliever in my IV and I needed something a little stronger but I understand how careful the Dr was because I was under full anesthesia the minute the eye surgeries were done. The results are looking amazing and the swelling decreased daily. I’m not sure what oral pain meds I was on after surgery but it was perfect for me because I don’t like to be on very many pain meds and when the meds ended it was the time I usually stop taking any pain meds. I’m pleased with the results I’m seeing so far and it’s only 3 weeks post-op. Lilith and the the girls were amazing, Lilith helped be to the hotel nearby after my 2 day stay at the surgical hospital and she helped me with exchanging my money to pay my hotel bill because my Credit Union was blocking my use of my credit card. I recommend anyone from outside of Korea to make sure they have an account with a larger bank before getting surgery in another country. I can’t say how much I needed and got reassurance from the staff with removal of my stitches and just how conscientious the staff was that I would be as comfortable as possible. Dr Kim Yong Woo always asked if I had any questions and spend the time before and after surgery to make sure all my questions were answered. He did a good job on my surgery and I recommend him for anyone seeking plastic surgery in Korea.

Medical team was as expected, nurses were very good. Language barrier was an issue, after care support was nil, staff were off sick, one nurse working with inpatient and me as outpatient. I was not ambulatory, so she came to me. Very rushed, no explanation of meds or paperwork. Medical certificate pre filled out before final surgery was even done. Surgeons tummy tuck was done well, neck lift - good, butt lift and breast lift not done, fat transfer instead, not what I wanted. Face lift was only on upper eye lid and did not work as expecterd, was looking for blepharoplasty, Upper and lower eye lids. Surgeon did not know what I meant. Still have wrinkles around eyes, still have over hanging eyelid in brow area. Not recommended if you have additional health issues, I have anaphylaxis to wheat which means all medications need to be checked, nurses and doctor did not know what I meant, so I could not take food or medication there. Also, most staff did not understand my request for wheat free foods- became a big issue. Perfectly fine to attend this clinic if you are in good health and have no other life threatening health issues. Below photo on left is what I got, photo on right is what I wanted. AS you can see in the other e photos, myafor arm adn upper arms still have excess skin and wrinkles, my inner thighs still have too much skin and lots of wrinkles. I had asked for VASER lyposuction, this liquifies fat and shrinks skin, not sure I got that type of liposuction. This bruising 2 weeks post surgery.

Hospital fine, clean decent staff Got gynecomastia surgery, emintha into healing moderately okay results, had maybe grade one maybe grade 2 gyno, got glands removed as I was very lean, Surgeon made long incisions, along my chest, have two ling 3 Inch scars on either side of my nipples on both side of my chest Fland wasn't fully removed on my left side so have recurring gyno, Need steriod injection to help with scaring, surgeon isn't competent enough to go through the nipples to leave no scarring, Pictures they send of before and after are a lie, Probably look worse than before cant take my top off after, The response to this was get laser treatment or steriod injections Sub par save your money go somewhere else Probably the same for most procedures they do

From the day i contacted Bookimed they answered my within minutes. I explained the procedure i wanted to have and also explained how worried I was. One would fear that flying to a foreign country where you don’t know the language would be stressful and scary. Not only did the staff (Joanne <3!) make that all a cakewalk, the clinic’s aftercare was top notch, they really went above and beyond for me. And I am NOT an easy patient—I need to know every chemical in the anesthesia, I negotiate different antibiotics, make them go over my 21 daily supplements, etc—I kept them BUSY and was shown nothing but continual grace and warmth, and was always responded to promptly. By far the most attentive care I have EVER gotten in medicine—again, thanks especially to Joanne, who even walked me back to my hotel across the street post op. As for the surgery outcome, I didn’t even need a Tylenol it was that painless, I was able to walk around and enjoy Seoul every day after my mini lift, and although I’m still swollen at just under two weeks out, I already look ten years younger and am loving what I’m seeing. Dr. Park knows what he is doing, he’s done 3000+ facelifts (yes I asked), he has superb attention to detail, a true artist’s hand, and is a friendly and gentlemanly doctor!

I chose not to use the services at all. I was working with book med for months looked at the pictures of the hospital, but when I got there and actually saw the hospital, it was dirty. The room where you take. The pictures looks dirty unorganized so what would the operating room look like? I pay the consultant fee, but the doctor never touched me. Never put his hands on me. Just looked at my pictures and I'm in the room so you need to fix that.

I had the great pleasure of going through Dr Derya Bingol and her team. Initially, I was in contact with the office manager Hulya and her communication level and support was surreal. She provided all the information and was very thorough every time. Once I was in Turkey, Hulya picked me up and took me to all my appointments before meeting Dr Derya. I specifically chose a female Dr as I felt more comfortable but also because her reviews were amazing online. Dr Derya did not disappoint, she went through the procedure and was measuring everything up and explaining to me exactly her thought process to completing the surgery. She cared and wanted the results to be as perfect as humanly possible. The results were amazing and was above my expectations.
