After getting his specialization, he did his military service as a Neurosurgeon Specialist at Gülhane Military Medical Academy Haydarpaşa Hospital. During this period, he also had a microsurgery education at GATA Ankara Microsurgery Laboratories with an official assignment. Subsequently, Kartal Dr. He completed his compulsory service at Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital.

He worked at Avicenna Ataşehir Hospital for seven years. Meanwhile, he also served as a member of the board of directors of the Nervous System Association. He went to the 29 Mayıs Hospital of the Turkish Religious Foundation. Later, he returned to the state for a period, first at Maltepe State Hospital, then with its new name Kartal Dr. He worked at Lütfi Kırdar City Hospital.

In 2020, he left the state again and started to work as a Neurosurgeon Specialist and Deputy Chief Physician at Academic Hospital.

After receiving the title of Associate Professor of Neurosurgery in 2021, he left his administrative duty to focus on academic studies. Currently, he is a faculty member at Galata University Faculty of Health Sciences and a member of the Beykent University Faculty of Medicine Advisory Board.

Dr. Manfred Mühlbauer is a spinal neurosurgeon who graduated from Vienna Medical University. He has experience in minimally invasive and reconstructive neurosurgery of the spine and specializes in spinal neurosurgery, microsurgery of hernias of the intervertebral discs and vertebrostenosis, operations on HWS, BWS and LWS, and stabilization operations for spinal instability. I am a specialist in neurosurgery, a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University, a certified instructor of endoscopic spine surgery. I specialize in surgical treatment of brain and spine diseases, as well as in interventional pain treatment. I completed my specialization training in neurosurgery at the Department of Neurosurgery of the Medical University of Warsaw and at the Department of Neurosurgery of the CMKP in Warsaw. I have performed over 2500 surgeries on my own. I speak Polish, German, Russian and English.

I have special experience in the surgery of brain tumors - gliomas and tumors of the base of the skull. I also treat cervical, thoracic and lumbar discopathies with the use of classical (open) approach and with the use of endoscopic spinal surgery. I also deal with instrumental stabilization of the spine, insertion of artificial discs, apical-occipital decompression in Chiari syndrome, as well as microvascular decompression in vascular and nervous conflicts (trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm), My scope of interests also includes cranial base surgeries - interdisciplinary endoscopic surgeries with laryngological syndrome, hemangiomas and aneurysms of the brain (ruptured and unruptured, classic and endovascular surgeries - experience unique among neurosurgeons), spinal hemangiomas, endoscopic treatment of hydrocephalus and spinal cysts. In addition, I deal with interventional pain treatment by performing blockades of the spine, intervertebral joints, ganglia, peripheral nerves under X-ray or ultrasound control, thermolesion as well as implantation of spinal stimulators

He is a leading expert in liver conditions and treatments, having served as the Head of the Liver Unit at Sourasky (Ichilov) Medical Center.
